
The Home Ownership Participation for Everyone (HOPE) Awards is a national industry awards program that recognizes individuals and organizations that are making outstanding contributions to increase and sustain minority homeownership, revitalize communities, and expand affordable housing opportunities.
Winners receive $10,000 and paid travel expenses to attend the HOPE Awards in May 2011 in Washington, D.C.
Leadership Award
Recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to helping minority homebuyers achieve or sustain homeownership.
Criteria for Media Award
Leadership (20 points) Entries should highlight the nominee’s leadership and long-term dedication, or a significant commitment of time and resources, to increasing minority homeownership.
Impact (20 points) Nominees must demonstrate success in helping eliminate disparities and overcome barriers to achieve or sustain minority homeownership.
Minority Focus (10 points) The nominees work must address homeownership needs or barriers specific to minority homebuyers.
