The Home Ownership Participation for Everyone (HOPE) Awards is a national industry awards program that was created in 2001. The awards recognize individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to increasing and sustaining minority homeownership, revitalizing communities and expanding affordable housing opportunities.

The HOPE Awards is sponsored by a partnership of real estate associations; awards are conferred every other year.

Winners receive $10,000 and paid travel expenses to the HOPE Awards in May 2011 in Washington, D.C.

Ten Year Celebration

In 2011 the HOPE Awards will celebrate 10 years of helping make the dream of owning a home possible for Americans of every background. In the decade since the first HOPE Awards were given out, $300,000 has been given to 30 winning individuals and organizations, helping thousands more minority families become homeowners.

Ten years after its inception, the HOPE Awards will once again shine a spotlight on the work that is being done to increase and sustain minority homeownership.

We Hope You Join Us

Join the 10 year celebration of closing the divide in the American dream by submitting an application for the 2011 HOPE Awards; applications are now being accepted through December 17, 2010. Sponsorships are also welcomed.
